======================================
Nuristan, land of light, located in the Hindukush region - northern border area between Afghanistan and Pakistan.
A truly unique high valley culture, with ancient wine culture and fantastic woodwork decorated with notched carvings. Chopped (not sawn) pieces of wood that were put together in the furniture sector using plug-in systems.
The chests of drawers were used to store a wide variety of household goods and supplies. The dark exterior color comes from the smoke patina. The heating of the houses and the cooking took place over an open fire, the smoke from which escaped through cracks, crevices or windows, as there was no chimney.
This unique piece of jewelery is not an industrially manufactured mass-produced product, but rather high-quality craftsmanship with many lovingly crafted details. All parts are handcrafted from solid wood.
