This carpet was hand-knotted by the Tekke Turkmen in northern Afghanistan.
This small rug, woven by a Turkmen woman, was used in Afghanistan to cover the rider's saddle. Soft and shiny wool was used for knitting. All dyes are natural. A nice collector's item.
