Turkmen tent bag, an ancient piece originating from the Jumod Turkmen people of northern Afghanistan or Turkmenistan. The tent bag is known as the "jallor" and could have been hung in a yurt and used to store small household items. The condition is excellent. The addition of beading and attractive lower fringes shows that great care has been taken in its construction

Warp: Wollgaren, light natural handspun.
Weft: wool yarn dyed red, handspun
Colours: Plant and natural colours.
Condition: some fringes are missing as can be seen in the pictures
