In the 1970s, very elaborately crafted carpets were made in the central weaving centers such as Kabul and Istalif, especially by prisoners in prisons in Kabul. The material used for these pieces was silk, selected colours, and a rarely fine weave. With our Istalifi carpet here, great value is also placed on the pattern. From the historical models, pattern ornaments are processed again in a very beautiful arrangement.
