Suzani -
beautiful traditional handmade silk embroidery from Uzbekistan and other Central Asian countries. It is also called by other names - keshte, kashta (in Uzbek), some people call them suzni. There are many different types and patterns of Suzanis - they vary by region; and even a region has different designs. Patterns of such embroidery have deep cultural roots dating back to pagan times. Such handcrafted items were traditionally made by women as part of their dowries. Traditional Uzbek interiors include a lot of textiles, in which walls, niches and chests were covered with amazing embroidery.

The nomad antique dress offered here is an original old and antique, handcrafted, sometimes very filigree nomad textile from Afghanistan. After years of use in front of the tribes, it is natural that there may be stains in the pieces, small parts may be missing, the embroidery may be damaged, discolored, or repaired.

*Due to photography and handwork, color variations may occur.

*Decoration is not part of the offer.
