The Iconic Indian Round Stool - These circular carved teak rice mills are native to the villages of Rajasthan or Gujarat. Originally used with grindstones to grind wheat or other grains. There is usually a small door on the side through which the flour comes out. The Hindi name for these hand-operated mills is "chukki" or "chakki".
CONDITION: Please note that all of our items are either vintage or antique and will show the usual minor signs of wear and restoration attributed to the age of each piece. Otherwise the stool is in excellent condition for its age.
