BALOUCH / BELOUCH ANIMAL RIBBON. An outstanding piece in mint condition from the Taimani Group of north-west Afghanistan. It would have been used as a decorative ceremonial collar for a camel.

Short Description: Two pile bands end in narrow kilims, one end with two loops, the other end with fasteners. The lower edges of both bands featured tassels and fringes.
Bundles of tassels and five bronze bells with a camel figure connecting ribbons.

Total length about 150 cm and width about 14 cm

Weight approx. 2.6 kg
