Antique carved wood lamp base. It was part of a massive and ancient main pillar of a 19th century mosque. from Swat, North Pakistan.

Height approx. 30 cm, depth and width approx. 17x14 cm.

It is used, so there are some material-related cracks in the wood. Condition see pictures. Age-related signs of wear are possible.

The pretty lamp base is handmade by Afghan craftsmen from old wooden columns. The pillar was once used for houses and is now obsolete. This elegant lamp can serve as beautiful lighting, placed on a chest of drawers or on a work table.
