Original Afghan burqa burqa cape burqa white
The burqa (also burqa, barqa, also birqa) is a garment worn by women in Afghanistan and partly in Pakistan. The Afghan burqa consists of a large cloth with a flat cap sewn into the top. In the area of the eyes there is a viewing window in which a kind of grid made of fabric or horsehair is used. The face is completely covered in the Afghan burqa. The asymmetrical fabric falls to the back of the knees and in the front to the wrists.
Length measured from the head approx. 155 cm
Afghan burqas are mostly blue today, but are also made in other colors (e.g. black, green, orange or red) and are sometimes elaborately embroidered. Originally, the Afghan burqa was only worn in the city. In the village, veiling was unusual.
The burqas are available in the dark blue color shown. The burqas have unit sizes based on body size.
